At Sutton CE, from September 2024, we will have a pre school intake alongside our Reception intake to further develop our Early Years Foundation Stage offer (EYFS) . Our pre school class will welcome children aged 3 – 4 and our reception class children aged 4 – 5. Children will learn together in our Blossom classroom with a qualified teacher and trained early years staff.
Our Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is delivered by highly skilled practitioners who are creative, reflective and have the highest expectations for all children to flourish
We provide continuous provision both indoor and out and have independent toileting facilities alongside a newly fitted hygiene room.

Our long term planning incorporates some set topics such as seasonal change, festivals and celebrations. It also allows for child-led themes based around their interests and is completely flexible!
Throughout the themes enhancements and visits will be added as per the children’s interests.
